But enough about that. I'll just cap what I did at Anime Expo 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in LA.
Day 1:
During our ride over it was hot and we were listening to Korean songs. -___- What fun. But anyway, Day 1 wasn't that interesting. It was just the day to get ready for the bigger events and such. I went to get my registration badge first because we didn't want to get it the day before.
A moment before I continue. I'll just list the special guests there were. The one party people were Hiroyuki Imaishi, Daisuke Ishiwatari (created 1st Guilty Gear game), Yun Kouga, Yosuke Kuroda, Seiji Mizushima, Toshimichi Mori (director, lead artist, and designer for the BLAZEBLUE game), Toshiyuki Morikawa (voice actor of many like Mitsurugi from the Soul Caliber series and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy), Yasuhiro Nightow, Atsushi Nishigori, Satoshi Nishimura (2009 Trigun movie director), Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai manga), and Kari Wahlgren.
The groups were the singing group Morning Musume and Moi Dix Mois. I saw neither because of something stupid happening.
Moving on, most of the day we spent in the exhibit hall and artist's alley, where you can buy stuffs and arts. ^^ That day, I bought a nice print from
Day 2:
Slept in a bit later but stayed later. Today, I wore Cathedral and sis wore Iron Gate.
Morning Musume was performing that day but I wasn't interested. xP We instead went to the Mana Moi dix Mois panel. It was an hour long and me and my sis were just listening to people ask the group questions. We got bored and...decided to be mean, poking fun at other people. Because, in truth, I'm an evil person, no matter how nice I seem to be. ><
After the panel, we spent some more time shopping. I bought some more prints, this time from
So yeah, after more a few hours, we were tired and wanted to take a break since there was a huge gap in our schedule. So we go back to the car and my sis takes a nap while I played The World Ends With You for about an hour.
Woke up, felt refreshed, and headed off to watch the AMVs/ Anime Music Videos. The categories were action, drama, comedy, and professional. This year's wasn't that great, actually, but the pro category was awesome. ^^ That was the end of Day 2.
Day 3:
Another day. If this is boring, I'm just recapping what we did, not all that there was.
We saw Jeff Thomas, the guy that drew those..little...alien looking things. xP Here's his site: [link]
We bought a lot of prings and pins from him and got them signed. :3 They're so cute. Today was pretty much just shopping for our other siblings. My brother gets this shirt that has the Zelda logo, where Leonidas from 300, has Link's cap on and is saying "This is Zeldaaaaa!" x3 I love that shirt. Lil' sis got a domo-kun shirt playing guitar hero.
Well, after 4 hours of shopping, we went to take a nap and ate korean bbq.
Getting lazy of typing. End day 3.
Day 4:
Day 4 ended at 6PM and we arrived at 1PM-ish. Sis wore the Cherry Berry Bunny again, and I wore a window print dress.
Guess what? More shopping~ >3
Got more of Jeff Thomas' art, and a big poster print of the brawl cast by
We ate, then went home.
END~
Got lazy and I'm very tired. D8 But don't want to rest and just want to relax now. I've a bunch of pictures I need to put up so you'll all get to see what happened during my 4-day absence. (Like Master Chief posing and Blood Falcon punching me. >< ). And there were so many artists there but I'm too lazy to name and list. Pfft.
Man, people give off so much heat...and they can stink. >> Ew. This year wasn't all that great, but it was ok. I got my pika. ^^ My sis and I are also contemplating on getting a table in the artist's alley. :3 I'm up for it so if I do, be sure to try and visit~
Actually, I think I'll take a small nap. See you all later~
